How can I use soundpiece to create music?

There are many ways you can use soundpiece in your creative process. With our trained algorithms, you can simply specify the mood, style and length you want, and generate a new song in seconds. You can also adjust songs or create as many variations as you want. Whether you’re looking for orchestral, electronic, or even just a simple beat – soundpiece can generate the music to suit all your content needs. Best of all - all generated songs are royalty free. You can also use SOUNDPIECE for inspiration or to create building blocks for a larger music composition. You can generate unlimited shorter music loops, download the audio and midi files, edit and incorporate them in your own way into another composition. Again, all royalty free. How much does it cost to use soundpiece?

To download generated songs you need download credits which can be purchased separately or as part of on of the monthly subscription plans. You can find more details here.
Which file formats can I generate songs in?

With soundpiece you can generate songs in mp3, wav or midi format.
Where can I find a song created with the inspire plugin?

At the bottom of the plugin, an audio icon will appear once a song has been generated. The icon can then be dragged to your DAW or to a folder in order to save the MP3, WAV or MIDI file.
How do I reset my password?

Your can retrieve your password by clicking on the Forgot password? link at the bottom of the member login screen. An email will be sent to you with a link. When clicking the link, you will be directed and prompted to enter a new password.
How do I change or cancel my plan?

You can change or cancel your subscription at any time. There will be no charge if you cancel before the end of any free trial period. After any trial period, you will be charged on a monthly basis until your subscription is cancelled. You can cancel online in your subscription page (directly accessed via this link)
Is music created with soundpiece royalty-free?

Yes. You have a broad royalty-free license for songs that you create with soundpiece. More information can be found in the EULA - https://www.soundpiece.co/eula
Are you available on both mobile and desktop devices?

You can use soundpiece on both to create songs. For the best experience we recommend using a desktop device.

How do I get my DAW to recognise the inspire plugin?

After downloading the inspire plugin, copy the VST3 plugin to the folder your DAW uses for plugins. The default locations are: - Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3 or - Users/your username/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3

Once you have created a free account, you can download the standalone and VST3 version of the plugins from here:
How do I create a song?

To get started, sign up and click 'Create' on the home page. From there, select the style and type of song you want to create and click the 'Generate' button. Repeat as often as you like and soundpiece will create a new song each time. Once happy with the song, just click Download to get the audio file. (Each download costs 1 credit so top-up credits as needed). All created songs are stored and available to download at any time.
How do I download a file?

If you are using the browser 'Create' section, click on the '...' button on the right hand side of the audio player and select download. Each unique download will use 1 of your credits but you can top-up download credits at any time. If you are using the 'Inspire' plugin, simply drag the audio file that appears at the bottom of the plugin into your DAW.

What rights are included? To whom does the copyright belong?

All intellectual property rights, such as the copyrights and trademark rights relating to SOUNDPIECE belong to the operating company SOUNDPIECE Limited. The music you generate can be synced to video, shared on social media, incorporated into a wider music composition for yourself or a client, as well as for any reasonable personal use. You may modify the songs according to your requirements. No attribution or link back to the SOUNDPIECE website is required, but any credit will be much appreciated!
